Google releases the most recent version of Android for Android smartphones every year. It claims that numerous Android smartphone manufacturing businesses have offered and are currently providing their smartphones with the Android 13 version, which was released around August of last year.
The majority of active Android smartphones are still on Android 11, according to the most recent statistics made public by Google, which show that 13% of Android devices in use globally have been upgraded to Android 13.
According to the data made public for the month of June, 14.7% of Android devices are running Android 13, as opposed to 12.1% in April of the previous year. However, just 3% of Android handsets received the Android 13 update between April and June.

By the month of June, however, just 16.3% of active Android smartphones used globally were running Android 12, 23.1% were running Android 11, and 17.8% were running Android 10.
Additionally, Google has made beta copies of Android 14, the version of Android they are presently creating.
