The Meta business has finally made the message editing feature available to all WhatsApp users, putting a stop to this hassle. For this, the relevant message must be edited within 15 minutes of being sent; beyond that, the message's sender no longer has the power to amend it.

You can alter a message that has already been sent by long-pressing on it and choosing alter from the menu that appears. After modifying a message, it is obvious that it has been altered because the word "Edited" appears in a small type beneath the message, alerting other users to the change.

According to a statement made by Meta Company yesterday (May 22, 2023), the company has been working to make this feature available to WhatsApp users worldwide. It will progressively become available to all users throughout these two weeks.
